Question: Do you pick me up from my door?

Answer:

Yes if that is the service you require. We also pick up from the iSite (Tourist Information Centre)

Question: What constitutes a family rate?

Answer:

2 adults and 2 children

Question: What age is your children’s rate?

Answer:

5 years to 13 years inclusive. Children under 5 years travel free of charge.

Question: Do we have to book?

Answer:

Yes.

We appreciate 48 hours notice when booking for transfers to the airport.

The Drivers’ manifests are compiled the day prior and adequate notice enables more efficiency.

If you have a late booking do not hesitate to ring as we will try to accommodate you with an existing run.

Question: Can I take my Surfboard?

Answer:

Yes, we can carry up to 6″ (1830mm). There is a small charge to carry surfboards.

Answer:

We offer different rates, Adult, Child, Student/Senior and Family.

Question: What form of payment do you accept?

Answer:

We accept direct debit, Visa or MasterCard.

Question: Where do you carry our luggage?

Answer:

If you are travelling on our mini coaches (12 seater) there will be a luggage compartment.

Excess luggage does incur a fee.

Question: Where will you pick me up at Auckland Airport?

Answer:

Auckland Airport Domestic Terminal arrivals will be met at the luggage carousel.

The driver will be displaying your name on a welcome meeting board.

It is essential that you make contact with the driver.

Please do not leave the carousel area.

Auckland Airport International Terminal arrivals will be met as you exit customs.

Your driver will be standing on the left hand side, displaying your name on a welcoming meeting board.

It is essential that you make contact with the driver.

Please do not leave this area.

You will need to allow for a small amount of waiting time as the driver may be meeting another flight.

The driver will be wearing a distinctive white polo shirt with the “Apollo Connect Shuttles” logo displayed.

Question: What is your cancellation policy?

Answer:

Refunds will only be made subject to the following conditions:

  • Once a booking has been confirmed, a $30-00 cancellation fee to cover administration costs will apply if cancelled
  • Cancellation with more than 12 hours notice given incurs 50% penalty
  • Cancellation less than 12 hours will incur a NIL refund

Question: How many other people are on the coach?

Answer:

It can vary.

The service is a shuttle to the airports and as such we will be picking up other passengers along the way. We run many services up and back from the airports every day.

If you prefer you can charter the mini bus and the price would be on application.

Question: Are child seats available?

Answer:

Yes, child seats are available for hire so that your children can be transported safely.

Question: Do all your mini buses have seatbelts?

Answer:

Yes they are all equipped with safety belts. This is essential for your safety.

Question: Why do you want our flight details?

Answer:

To ensure prompt pick up times we need to know your flight details including:

  • Which airline
  • Arrival time/departure time
  • Return dates and times

Question: Why do the Drivers ask for our details when we have already given the return details with the booking?

Answer:

It is a policy of the Company and a cross check to reduce the risks of error.
